Investment-grade and collectible. We test purity on the table, weigh on a calibrated scale, and price off the daily LBMA spot.

We price off the daily LBMA spot, then quote you the buy figure on the table. The maths is written down so you can see it.
Scrap gold and odd bits
The single earring that lost its pair. The snapped clasp at the bottom of a drawer. The mangled chain from when the dog got hold of it. We weigh and value the gold content, never the sentimental shape.

Dental gold
Often overlooked. A bag of dental crowns or bridges from a loved one's estate can hold meaningful gold content, particularly the older work where high-karat alloys were the norm. We test each piece on the table.

Estate and deceased-estate jewellery
We have helped families across Adelaide work through inherited jewellery boxes for years. Quietly, without pressure, and always with the time the conversation needs.
Estate visits are typically longer than other appointments because the sorting matters. We will sit at the table with you, separate the gold and silver from the costume pieces, name what each hallmark means, and give you a written valuation for the whole lot. You decide piece by piece what to sell and what to keep.
If you would prefer Sharon to lead the visit (some families do), say so when you book. We can also coordinate directly with an estate executor or solicitor on request.

How we test on the kitchen table
Every piece is weighed and tested in front of you. Nothing leaves the table for a "back-of-shop" check.

Professional gold-testing tools
Identifies the metal mix without scratching the piece. We test gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and spot the base-metal alloys behind costume jewellery.

Calibrated digital scale
Weighed to two decimal places in grams. The scale is checked before each visit.

Jeweller's loupe and acid test (backup)
For unusual pieces where the first reading needs a second check. The acid test marks an inconspicuous spot, never a visible face.
