    Chris tests each piece at the visit. You keep the piece if it tests fake, and there is no charge for testing. Nothing to lose by finding out.

    Do I need to clean my gold first?

    No. Broken bits are welcome, and a drawer of bits is perfectly fine. Cleaning does not change the value, so bring everything as it is.

    What if I don't want to sell on the day?

    You decide on the day, and you can walk away if the offer doesn't suit. If it helps, we'll hold pieces aside for up to 2 weeks while you think it over.
